Challenge

Navigating Complexity

Joining the project midway, the challenge was to quickly iterate on design solutions. Navigating through a complex trading system, it became evident that the user flow for the full trade life cycle was not fully captured. Moreover, as a newcomer to trading platforms, unfamiliarity with trades required extensive research and collaboration with colleagues and users to understand the intricacies of the platform.

Approach

Conducting User-Centered Research and Streamlining Design Iterations

To successfully modernise the trading platform, our approach centered around user-centered research and streamlined design iterations. We conducted in-depth research, including interviews with end-users, to gain insights and define personas.

Recognising the significance of visualising the trade life cycle, we created comprehensive diagrams that facilitated productive discussions and refined user flows. Throughout the design process, we emphasised the value of UX artifacts and a continuous feedback loop.

The resulting UI screen designs were carefully crafted to enhance usability and engagement. Furthermore, we created user flow designs in Figma to demonstrate the optimised trade life cycle and provide a visual representation of the platform's functionality.
